While it’s kind of hard to think about Christmas when the temps are over triple digits, you may want to start planning a trip to the Dallas Arboretum this holiday season.

The garden announced that their annual ’12 Days of Christmas’ display will come to an end following the 2026 holiday season.

The Arboretum said in a statement to NBC DFW:

For twelve years, the Twelve Days of Christmas Gazebos have been woven into the landscape of Holiday at the Arboretum. Families have made them a holiday tradition, children have grown up with them, and the spirit of Holiday at the Arboretum has evolved around them.

This season, the Gazebos will take their final bow, and we want to honor them by bringing the whole city together one last time. Community is what Holiday at the Arboretum has always been about. Not just a beautiful experience, but a shared one. After twelve years, these cherished displays earn their final chorus.

And while the Gazebos may be taking their bow, Holiday at the Arboretum is not going anywhere. This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next, as the Arboretum reimagines what the holidays can look like for Dallas for years to come. What we are planning will be just as exciting and dynamic as when the Gazebos first appeared more than a decade ago.

Join us in a celebration with one final chorus this holiday season.

Follow the Dallas Arboretum on social media for updates as the holidays near.

The final year of the 12 Days of Christmas opens Nov. 11, 2026, and will remain on display through Jan. 3, 2027.
