With the calendar flipping over to October, you know that means we only have one thing on our minds: Halloween candy.
Even though most of us probably don't go Trick-or-treating anymore (unless you're hauling a couple of little ones around, that doesn't mean the candy tastes any different.
It's always fun taking a look at what states enjoy which candy the most, because it often leads to a ton of arguments about which candy is superior, and why your friends' tastes are inferior because candy buttons are their favorite.
CandyStore.com looked at bulk candy sales for each state from over the past 16 years, and found that in Texas, Sour Patch Kids reigned supreme! Texans also purchased more Reese's Cups and Starburst more than any other candy in that time period.
Data showed that the top ten Halloween candies overall included: Reese's Cups M&M's Hot Tamales Skittles Sour Patch Kids Starburst Hershey Kisses Candy Corn Hershey Mini Bars Snickers
