Season five of 'Yellowstone' premiered Sunday night, and while many fans are excited to find out what's going to happen in the coming weeks, North Texas may be getting a sneak preview on Tuesday. It was recently announced that the hit series will be in Venus, Texas on Tuesday for filming. While not much is known about what is being filmed in Johnson County, many are hoping to get a glimpse of the show's stars, including Kevin Costner.

While 'Yellowstone' is set in Montana, the show has many connections to North Texas. Not only is the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, from here, but the area has previously been used for filming and several horses from the metroplex have appeared on the show as well. Now, 'Yellowstone' will be back in Texas as the show will take over Venus' downtown square on Tuesday for filming.

According to WFAA, the news was announced by Venus Mayor James Burgess on the Venus Express Facebook group. The mayor asked residents to avoid driving in the downtown area, as several roads will be blocked during the filming. Now, it will only be a matter of time before people start calling Venus the Hollywood of the south.
