The Allegheny County Health Department reported 274 new COVID-19 cases in the county on Tuesday.
There was also one new virus-related death reported.
Since March of 2020, there have been 75,250 cases of the virus in Allegheny County, 4,814 hospitalizations and 1,628 deaths.
On Tuesday, Governor Tom Wolf reiterated the need for the state to do better at vaccine distribution, but told the KDKA Radio Morning Show that supply of the vaccine is an ongoing problem.
On Monday, the county Health Department announced that it had received 7,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine. Of those doses, 4,700 are for first doses with the remaining 2,300 intended for second doses.
Local hospital systems also announced the opening of vaccine registration portals on Monday.
