It's been quite the journey this holiday season as we deliver surprise after surprise with the Levin's Furniture For Families program. We've already made a huge difference for two families. Each received the gift of $5,000 in furniture from our friends at Levin Furniture & Mattress. Now it's time to shock the third and final family! To pull off this surprise, we had to enlist the help of one proud mother, Cynthia who drove in from Virginia to help us pull off the surprise for her daughter Shakira Freeman, her husband Kwame, and their four children. When we came knocking on the door with Michael Lewis and the giant display check from Levin's Furniture & Mattress, it was a total shock.
And it was so well received. You can feel the love in that room packed with family members coming together to witness the immense kindness from Robert Levin and his team. Michael also brought another special gift with him, a $500 gift card for the store of their choosing.
Man, this is amazing. The spirit of giving is alive and well and it's an honor to be able to partner with Levin Furniture & Mattress to provide these families with something potentially life-changing.
