KGON is partnering with American Red Cross, McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, and Backwoods Brewing for the Pints for Pints Blood Drive on Thursday, February 10th from 12pm - 5:30pm! Donate blood and get $10 to spend at Backwoods Brewing's two locations. We recommend a KGON Classic!!!

We are currently facing the worst national blood shortage in over a decade, with an overall 10 percent decline in blood donations since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. This has forced doctors to make difficult decisions about which patients get blood transfusions and which will need to wait until more becomes available. Blood transfusions are vital in treatments of many patients all over the country, and the current pandemic and flu season are only compounding the issue.
