In the summer of 1973, over 600,000 people descended on Watkins Glen Grand Prix Raceway for a record-decimating, once-in-a-lifetime performance featuring the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers and The Band. From the Dead's two-hour long soundcheck-turned-jam-sesh to the miles of gridlock surrounding the venue to the epic group encore, it's no wonder The Summer Jam at Watkins Glen is regarded as legend.
