Alright 12’s, we’ve officially got ourselves a winning streak! Two game winning streak to be exact after the Seahawks demolished the Houston Texans 33-13. Russ looked back to his old self, Rashaad Penny had a career day on the ground (16 carries, 137 yards, two TD’s), Tyler Lockett recorded his 3rd consecutive 1,000 yard season and the defense played great again! One of the most complete games of the year just so happened to come against one of the worst teams in the league. As fun as it was, it should also be expected if you want to be taken seriously. Now on to one of the biggest tests of the season, next week in LA vs the Rams. If the Seahawks offense continues to play the way it has recently (Scored 63 points over the last two weeks as opposed to 69 points the previous 5) and the defense continues their strong play (6th best scoring defense) they’ll have a shot to pull off the upset. Seahawks sitting at 5-8, have to win out to have any chance. Literally every week is do or die. They win this Sunday, they could be favored in their final 3 games. If the Hawks win out, they have a 61% chance of making the playoffs. It will not be easy as the Rams are coming off one of their best performances of the year going into Arizona and beating the Cardinals. And despite their injury problems players on COVID-list, Rams are still are loaded with talent and always give the Seahawks trouble.
