When the pandemic first hit, Breakfast Republic gave away hundreds of free meals a day. However, now they're having a hard time giving those meals out.
Johan Engman, the owner of the restaurant chain, wants to get the word out that they're still doing this program. If you, or someone you know, could use a free meal, head to the Breakfast Republic in Mission Valley. It's right by the trolley stop, and you can pick up a meal daily between 8am and 2pm, no questions asked.
