Mistakes happen. I get it. We all make them. We all make a lot of them. No one is perfect, and no one ever will be (until we all turn into cyborgs, but that's for my other blog page.)
But none of us - NONE of us - would wake up with our job in place the next day if we cost our employer over two million dollars because of one simple, easy, ridiculous mistake.
That appears to be EXACTLY what's happened at South Carolina.
Ordinarily, I write a blog post on Wednesday. That's how it works. But today, I was so angry about the ridiculous mistake that cost the Gamecocks over two million dollars - the same amount, by the way, that was ALMOST the reason that Muschamp got himself another year at USC - and the fact that it doesn't look like anyone is going to be held accountable for that mistake, I had to speak directly from the head.
