The Atlanta Hawks have made a lot of noise in the offseason. General Manager Travis Schlenk literally made it rain in free agency. No one was surprised because they had the most money to spend in the entire league.

With more than half of their roster changed over, their success almost totally depends on how fast they can build up their team chemistry. Most of the attention will be on star point guard Trae Young, who will be charged with making sure this team gets where it needs to be.

Chris Kirschner, of The Athletic, joined The Jon Chuckery Show to help fans understand that there will be a transition period early in the season.

"Lloyd Pierce is trying to get a sense of who works well together and who doesn't work well together," Kirschner said.

The Hawks being able to work together is going to be key because they have to make it to the playoffs this season. Principal owner, Tony Ressler has spent the money and it will be on Pierce to get everyone on the same page so that can happen.
