Clemson cruises after big 2nd quarter vs Georgia Tech

A big 2nd quarter led Clemson to a 42-21 win over Georgia Tech at Death Valley, over the weekend. Clemson had a slow start in the 1st quarter and trailed 7-0 after the 1st.

They then scored 21 unanswered and led 21- at the half. Clemson scored another 21 straight in the 2nd half and led 42-7 before Georgia Tech scored twice in the last 10 minutes, to make the final score.

The Clemson defense had four interceptions on the day. DB Shelton Lewis had a pick 6 in the fourth.

QB Cade Klubnik had one of his best games of the season, he was 23 of 34 for 205 yards and 4 TD's. A pair of former Greenville High standouts Tyler Brown and Josh Sapp both had TD catches in the game.

Clemson is now 6-4 on the season. They'll host North Carolina this Saturday at Death Valley.
