From Rob Jones- Seneca High School has hired Drec Ellis as their new Head Football Coach.
He has served as Defensive Coordinator at Seneca the last two seasons under Coach David Crane, who left Seneca to be the new Head Coach at BHP. Ellis served as an Assistant Coach at Hanna, Daniel and JL: Mann prior to coming to Seneca.
Ellis played college football at Newberry prior to getting into coaching.
The school says, there were over 50 applicants from all over the Southeast.
