
A hot start propelled the Furman men to a double digit win over Wofford in Greenville on Saturday. The Paladins started the final installment of "Weekend At The Well" action on an 8-0 run. They then extended the lead to 17-3 before Wofford found any offensive rhythm.

Furman led 42-25 at the half and would go on to win the game 80-67. The victory gives them the season sweep over their Upstate and Southern Conference rival.
The Paladins had four players in double figures, Forward Jalen Slawson had team highs for points and rebounds with 16 and 9. Alex Williams had 15, JP Pegues with a baker's dozen and Mike Bothwell added 10.
BJ Mack had a game high 17 to lead Wofford, they had three in double figures. With the win Furman is 19-6 overall and 10-2 in the SoCon putting them in a 3 way tie with Samford and UNCG for 1st place. Wofford falls to 13-12 overall and 5-7 in league play.
The Wofford Women took game one of Saturday's doubleheader edging Furman 69-66.
