A pair of former in-state college players will be front and center on football's grandest stage this weekend. Seattle's defense is powered by two former Gamecock standouts in Linebacker Ernest Jones IV and Safety Nick Emmanwori.
With over 120 tackles and five interceptions on the season, Jones leads the Seahawks in both categories. Emmanwori has over 50 tackles and a pick on the season.
The lone former in-state player on New England's roster is former Gamecock Corner Marcellus Dial Jr. However, he's on the injured reserve and is expected to miss the game with a knee injury.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM on Sunday.
