Furman will look to get over the .500 hump in SoCon play, this week. The Paladins have been without preseason All So-Con Selection Marcus Forster since he suffered a major injury, in early December.
Furman opened the SoCon slate with consecutive road losses at UNC-Greenboro and Chattanooga. The Paladins then responded with back to back home conference wins.
Furman downed in-state rival The Citadel 82-68 on January 10th. They followed that with a 82-73 win over East Tennessee State on Saturday. Both JP Pegues and Alex Williams had 20 points each in the win over ETSU.
The Paladins will look to eclipse the .500 mark in conference contests when they travel to take on VMI. Furman and VMI are set to tip off at 6 PM, Wednesday night.
