BT: Jalen Brunson's health, Pacers softness will be why Knicks advance
After watching Jalen Brunson put forth arguably his best performance of the postseason on Tuesday, BT is convinced that the Knicks are advancing with their star looking healthy again.
"They're getting it, because Brunson is healthy," BT said. "That was my only fear. Now that's gone.
"He's healthy. The snap is back, and the Pacers are done. I don't know if it will be in game six or game seven back here on Sunday, but the Knicks will be playing the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Final."
BT is also convinced that the Knicks will win this series because he doesn't trust the makeup of the Pacers, who Donte DiVincenzo called out for acting tough despite not having that identity after the game five blowout.
"They're trying to be something they're not. They're trying to be tough," BT said. "They're trying to match the intensity and the dogness…but you can't.
"All of a sudden, Myles Turner thinks he's a big badass…the Pacers don't want this physical smoke. They can score and run down the court…if Brunson is healthy and the Knicks are playing the way they've played since the opening tip this year, they're not losing this series."
