Gio: Rejuvenated Jalen Brunson will put Pacers 'to sleep' in game six
After watching Jalen Brunson pour in 44 points in a huge game five win for the Knicks on Tuesday night, Gio is convinced that New York's star will help his group end the series in Indiana on Friday night.
"I think, now that Brunson is back, he's gonna put them to sleep in game six," Gio said. "Two full days off to rest and get ready for a potential closeout game."
Brunson, even with an ailing right foot, turned in perhaps his best playoff performance on Tuesday, and with the extra day of rest, Gio believes Brunson will again be at his best in a potential clinching game six.
Still, that doesn't mean Gio is expecting it to be easy like it was on Tuesday.
"This game will come down to the last two or three possessions," Gio said. "It's gonna be one of those heart-in-your-mouth, like game two and game three."
