Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Earlier this week, Buffalo Bills training camp started to get more physical, with several minor scuffles breaking out during practice.
During the team's final practice of this camp at St. John Fisher University on Thursday, wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Kaiir Elam had a heated exchange, renewing a situation that started to boil over last year during camp.
LISTEN LIVE TO WGR:
This time, Diggs walked all the way over from the offensive sideline to confront Elam on the defensive sideline after the second-year corner had broken up a pass right in front of the wideout and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. After that play, both Diggs and Dorsey had something to say to Elam about grabbing the receiver.
Quite a few players, including Dion Dawkins, got between Diggs and Elam to separate them. As they were all dispersing, wideout Gabe Davis also had a few things to say to the defensive players.
Last year during training camp, Diggs was visibly frustrated with how often Elam was grabbing him during drills, which led to a minor confrontation. That appeared to have been the case again on Thursday.
Here's more of what stood out on the final day of training camp at St. John Fisher University:

Injury scares
Just before all of this happened between Diggs and Elam, the wide receiver went down to the turf after a play and was in the prone position for about a minute or so, rocking back-and-forth as trainers tended to him.
He ultimately got up and jogged slowly towards the sideline, where he remained for the rest of practice without a helmet. Although Diggs sat out the rest of the session, he was talking and joking with teammates, as well as acting as a coach on the sideline, helping other players as they came off the field.
At the very end of the session, during the post-practice stretching period, Diggs took a knee next to defensive end Shaq Lawson and both were sharing a laugh. He walked off the field chatting and laughing with several defensive backs.
Defensive end Leonard Floyd also walked very slowly off the field at one point, with one hand on his lower back and hip area. He was tended to by trainers for several minutes. Eventually, he returned to the field and finished practice.
Terrel Bernard, who is fighting for the starting middle linebacker spot, left the field with trainers early-on. They all walked into the medical tent together, and he never returned to practice.

Oliver returns
Defensive tackle Ed Oliver returned to practice on Thursday after missing a few days with back soreness.
Defensive back Cam Lewis, fullback Reggie Gilliam, and running back Damien Harris were all out.

Play of the day
Rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid was going to be involved in my play of the day, but he was then trumped... on a play involving rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid.
On the first play, quarterback Josh Allen threaded a needle on the sideline to Kincaid, who caught the ball and was able to change direction quickly and get up field.
On the second play, Allen tried to hit Kincaid over the middle, but defensive tackle Tim Settle got his hand on the ball to bat it up in the air. Kincaid stayed with it, and put his hands out to grab it in the end zone as it came back down.
