The Detroit Police Department is getting into the Halloween spirit. All DPD precincts will be passing out candy on Halloween in a drive-up style trick-or-treating event.
Earlier today the officers were in preparation mode filling up bags with candy to hand out on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
There will be drive-up candy stations at all police precincts, select fire stations and Adam-Butzel, Farwell and Patton recreation centers.
To ensure that everyone enjoys a safe and fun Halloween, masks and social distancing are required and no walk-ups will be allowed.
