Michigan State Police say they arrested a 25-year-old man after spotting him speeding at 100 mph on I-696 in Royal Oak.
They say it happened at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday
And when he was stopped, the man allegedly had a collection of credit cards that didn't belong to him. During his arrest, officers said they also found a pistol registered to someone else along with two ammunition magazines inside his Jeep Cherokee.
The man, whom they did not identify, also has a criminal record. Unknown is the nature of his previous crimes.
He faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm and being a felony fugitive.
