CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A popular Chicago antique market festival that had moved temporarily to southwest Michigan is now closed for the rest of the summer.

The Randolph Street Market festival venue in the West Loop is under construction this year, so organizers moved it, for this summer, to a field in the artsy community of Three Oaks, Michigan.

But now, because of unpredictable weather, namely the torrential downpours we’ve had lately and the lack of access to air conditioning, the market is closing for good for this summer.

Organizers said May and June had been great, except for near the end of this month with the weather. They said due to recent rain, field is in no shape to host the antique market.

Refunds will be promptly sent out this week.

Randolph Street Market is planning to be back in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood and Three Oaks, Michigan next year.
