NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people were killed and nearly two dozen injured in shootings across New York City this weekend, according to the NYPD.
The most recent incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 25 in Queens, officials said.
The victim was a woman who was shot in the stomach and arm in the Laurelton neighborhood, authorities said.

According to police, the woman was sitting in her car near the intersection of 230th Street and Merrick Boulevard when an unknown man walked up to her and began shooting.
She was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
Just a few hours earlier, at 5:33 hours officers responded to a 911 call of a mle shot in front of 100 Centre Mall at the Red Hook Houses in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, police discovered two men shot.
Felton Durant, 23, was shot in the torso, buttocks, and hand and was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The second victim, a 28-year-old man was grazed in the arm and was treated at the scene, authorities said.
There are no arrests in either incident and the investigation is ongoing.
