Anytime an animal sighting in public causes chaos usually it’s something dangerous like an alligator, snake or bear. However, one city in China was recently terrorized by a much more surprising animal; an ostrich. 80 ostriches escaped from a farm recently, running wild through the city as multiple videos of the ostriches running through the streets have been shared online.
Over the weekend, a large group of ostriches somehow escaped their farm in Chongzuo City, China. As seen in the many clips that have since gone viral, the flightless birds ran wild all over the city, as groups of ostriches were spotted in neighborhoods, by business, on the street with cars, and just about everywhere but the farm. Many locals were stunned by the sighting, as ostriches are not normally found in the area.
Luckily, almost all the ostriches have since been recovered, according to Bro Bible. No one has been harmed by the escaped ostriches, though about 20 are still missing. Hopefully there aren’t any families in the area with a new secret pet ostrich.
