With many musicians starting to return to the stage for the first time in over a year, some may need some time to shake off the rust. Luckily, that doesn’t seem to be an issue for Heart’s Ann Wilson. The singer recently joined band Gov’t Mule at their show to perform covers of Led Zeppelin and Tom Petty, and now the internet wants more.
Over the weekend, Ann Wilson took the stage at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut, along with Gov’t Mule, where she performed a number of covers including; Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song,’ ‘Black Dog,’ and ‘No Quarter,’ and a rendition of Tom Petty’s ‘Luna.’ According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the singer also performed one of her band’s most iconic songs, ‘Magic Man.’
Wilson has been very busy so far in 2021. The singer recently released three solo singles; ‘Tender Heart,’ ‘The Hammer,’ and ‘Black Wing.’ Now, with the singer back on stage, fans can anticipate even more coming from Ann Wilson.
