During any Texas road trip it’s almost a guarantee at some point a Buc-ee’s billboard will be seen. The Texas-based chain is known for filling up highways with advertisements for their stores, with some as far as 700 miles away from the destination. However, some Texas drivers have noticed an error on one that was recently put up near Temple, as the word “howdy” is misspelled on it.

73 miles from Buc-ee’s Temple location, there’s a new billboard with a witty line to attract drivers to the store. However, the new billboard has caused many drivers to do a double take, and it’s not because of how humorous the advertisement is. As seen in a photo that has recently gone viral the sign reads “you had me at hodwy.”

According to WFAA, many have begun to wonder if Buc-ee’s misspelled the sign on purpose. It is unknown if this was a mistake or another genius marketing move by the Texas-based chain. Either way, many will be in the mood for Beaver Nuggets after seeing this.
