Texans take great pride in anything from the Lone Star state. While sometimes it may come off as a bit biased, anytime something from Texas is shared with the rest of the country, it quickly becomes beloved everywhere. Now, one DFW chef is getting the chance to show the rest of the country what she brings to Texas every day. Chef Tamra Patterson will compete on Food Network’s ‘Chopped’ next month, and those who have been to her restaurant are confident she will be coming home a champion.
Fort Worth native and owner of Chef Tam’s Express in Arlington, chef Tamra Patterson, recently announced she will be competing on ‘Chopped’ in April. While some chefs may be nervous about showing off their talents on television, Patterson is no stranger to reality cooking shows. According to CW 33, Patterson previously competed on the Food Network’s ‘Guys Grocery Games’ and ‘The Great American Cook Off.’

For those that have not seen ‘Chopped,’ each episode features four chefs competing in a three round contest. The episode featuring Patterson will air April 5. Hopefully she is ready to show the world how DFW does food.
