Sometimes memorabilia collectors take things a little too far, buying up everything and anything they can get their hands on, before realizing they look more like a hoarder than a collector. When one runs out of room, it’s time to start selling and that’s exactly what one DFW collector is now doing. John Gasperik, who owns the Shake Rag Music Store, has decided it was time to part ways with his entire collection of music memorabilia, and he’s hoping someone wants to buy the entire thing for $2.5 million.

As anyone who has ever moved homes knows, sometimes people have to say goodbye to beloved items solely because there just isn’t enough room in their new home. As John Gasperik moves from his home in East Dallas to a new space in The Cedars, he now has a number of iconic items he is forced to get rid of. “It's time to liquidate. 2.5 million. Come and haul it off, you know!" said Gasperik.

According to NBC DFW, his collection includes items from multiple iconic musicians, as he has been collecting for decades. Luckily, Gasperik still has plenty of items inside his Shake Rag Music Store, so he will still have plenty of memorabilia. If someone buys his entire collection, surely some of those funds will go into buying more items.
