Ever since the upcoming ‘Mortal Kombat’ reboot was first announced, those working on the film have been sworn to secrecy, with very few details about the project being revealed. Now, with only a few months before the film’s release, Warner Bros. has given fans a first look at the upcoming reboot. A series of photos from the film were released by the movie studio on Friday, and while some much appreciated information was revealed, luckily no spoilers were included.
The first look was teased by actor Lewis Tan earlier this week, and now fans can finally see what they can expect from the upcoming ‘Mortal Kombat’ reboot. Many are excited, as unlike the video game franchise, this latest version will receive an ‘R’ rating. Along with Tan, the film’s cast includes; Ludi Lin, Jessica McNamee, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Mehcad Brooks, and Chin Han.
While still not many details were given on the upcoming film, fans can anticipate plenty of action based on the first look images released by Warner Bros. The ‘Mortal Kombat’ reboot is set to be released on April 16. Until then, fans will just have to try and keep their anticipation at controllably levels.
