There have been quite a few businesses moving from California to Texas over the last few years, and it appears the west coast to Lone Star state exodus won’t be stopping any time soon. The latest business to make the move not only will bring jobs to the area but has a big name celebrity attached to it as well. Gordon Ramsay recently announced he will be moving his restaurant HQ from Los Angeles to Las Colinas.
Like many others, Gordon Ramsay has come to the realization that Texas is the place to be. With the move to Texas coming in 2022, Ramsay’s company plans to expand; opening 75 new restaurants in cities across the United States over the next five years. “We want to be very careful not to dilute the brand, and the brand is Gordon,” said CEO Norman Abdallah.
According to Dallas Morning News, it is unknown if Ramsay plans to join the growing list of celebrities moving to Texas. However, his company plans to use the area to help their expansion, while opening restaurants throughout Texas as well. Soon enough, Ramsay will learn why everyone wants to be in Texas.
