Any time there is a food challenge on a restaurant’s menu; there are many who think they could complete it with ease. Of course, once the lights come on and it’s time to prove it, most crumble trying to force the mass amounts of food into their mouth. However, one Texas man recently showed he means business when it comes to food, completing the Big Texan Steak Ranch’s 72oz steak challenge in record time.
Over the weekend, a man took on the 72oz steak challenge at Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo. While many have tried and failed in the past, the man was determined to get his massive meal for free. As seen in the clip that has since gone viral, he was able to finish the challenge in six minutes and 28 seconds, stunning everyone in the restaurant, including the staff.
According to the restaurant, it was the second fastest time in the challenge’s history. The man received a huge round of applause once he completed the challenge. Hopefully the food challenge was just as much fun going out as it was going in.
