By now, just about everyone has either completed, or knows someone that has completed, a Rubik’s Cube. Of course, most of these people take hours if not days, months and sometimes even years to complete the puzzle, but as the years have passed, some figured out the trick and can complete the Rubik’s cube in seconds. Now, a new record has been set as someone has completed a Rubik’s Cube in 3.13 seconds.
Max Park was already one of the best Rubik’s Cube speedsolvers, competing in numerous competitions all over the world. However, now he may be considered the best as he recently set the world record for solving a Rubik’s Cube. According to Kotaku, his time of 3.13 seconds beat the previous record of 3.47 which was set in 2018.
In the quick video, Park can be seen swiftly moving the pieces before clapping his hands and shouting “yes!” Even Park was amazed by his time as it puts him well ahead of the previous record. Now the world will have to wait and see if someone can do it in less than three seconds.
