One of DFW’s greatest attractions is celebrating a major anniversary this weekend, and is inviting the metroplex to come help them celebrate. It has been 10 years since the Perot Museum of Nature and Science first opened in Dallas and they are marking the anniversary with a free event. The party kicks off this Saturday and is expected to be full of family friendly fun.
For anyone looking for a family friendly activity this weekend, the Perot Museum’s 10th birthday party may just be the place. According to CW33, the event will run from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday. There will be activities for kids such as designing birthday hats in the Moody Family Children’s Museum and creating circuit birthday cards inside the Engineering and Innovation Hall’s ChallENGe Lab.

The event is free, but almost 7,000 people have already pre-registered to attend the event. Everyone in attendance will receive a 10th-anniversary cupcake. This weekend, the Perot Museum party will definitely be the place to be.
