Taco Bell has been playing with the emotions of some of their most loyal customers over the last few years. The fast food chain has removed a number of fan favorite menu items since 2020, but has also brought back some favorites that haven’t been seen in years. Now, Taco Bell has once again announced the return of a fan favorite item after a fan vote pitted two classic dishes against each other.
Earlier this year, Taco Bell announced fans would have the chance to vote to bring back either the Beefy Crunch Burrito or the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos. After counting the votes, Taco Bell announced the winner was the Beefy Crunch Burrito, which will now be back on the menu in August.
According to Yahoo, the dish hadn’t been on the menu since 2018.
This is the second time the fast food chain has done a fan vote to bring back a menu item, as the Enchirito returned to menus after a vote in November. Now, fans will just have to wait and see which item Taco Bell wants to bring back next.
