A Preston Hollow home that drew the ire of its neighbors for its elaborate displays during Christmas is back at it for Halloween.

The home, located on Deloache Avenue, has now paired its over-the-top Christmas display with an over-the-top Halloween display.

Dallas resident Veronica Blair told NBC DFW, “It did look familiar and I was like 'OK, well it might be the same house', so I was like 'OK, let me just go by and look at it myself.”

Videos of the home have gone viral on TikTok, and people from all over North Texas are now gathering in the Dallas neighborhood to check out the display for themselves.

The home’s Christmas decoration cost taxpayers $25,000 in police overtime to handle all the traffic and complaints, and Dallas City Councilmember Gay Donnell Willis doesn’t want a repeat of last Christmas to happen this Halloween.

“Most people don't have commercial-grade holiday displays in the middle of their neighborhood, drawing what social media brings to the table, which is a tremendous amount of people,” she said.

The homeowner, told NBC DFW he doesn’t understand the frenzy around the decorations, saying he does it simply for his kids.
