Every time Whataburger adds something new to their menu, it sends shock waves throughout the state of Texas. Now, the fast food chain is trying to send the state into chaos with four new menu items added this week.
The lineup features two desserts and two sandwiches featuring some of Texas’ favorite flavors.
On Monday, Whataburger debuted four new menu items; a banana pudding shake, the bacon blue cheese burger, peppercorn ranch chicken club, and a chocolate chunk brownie. According to My San Antonio, the banana pudding shake features a thick vanilla base paired with a creamy banana pudding flavor. “The nostalgic flavor of banana pudding is perfectly captured in our newest shake. With well-balanced flavors in each sip, guests are in for a sweet treat with this fresh take on a comfort food classic,” said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
Along with the new items, the fast food chain also brought back two favorites; the Whataburger breakfast burger and the Spicy Ketchup limited batch No. 2. Sadly these items will only be available for a limited time. Hopefully this doesn’t make the drive-thru line even longer.
