Clemson Basketball remains on a hot streak of late after their home win over Pittsburgh, Tuesday night. The Tigers downed Pitt 69-62 to win their sixth game in the last seven.
It was a balanced Clemson effort with four players scoring in double figures. Both Ian Schieffelin and Upstate native PJ Hall had double-doubles in points and rebounds. Chase Hunter and Joe Girard III both had 15 each.
The Tigers held Pitt to just 33% shooting from the floor and 28% from three point range. Clemson won despite being minus 8 in the turnover margin. The Tigers are now 20-8 overall, 10-7 in the ACC and 6-1 in their last seven.
Both Clemson and South Carolina are expected to be in the NCAA Tournament. ESPN has the Tigers a 5 seed and SC a 6 seed in their latest field projection.
