Arrests made in 17th Street Bridge shooting that killed 2 teens

Atlanta police say they have arrested two teenagers in connection to the shooting on November 26 that claimed the lives of two young boys. The shooting occurred on the 17th Street Bridge near Atlantic Station.

Atlanta police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jr. says 2 shooters are in custody for murder. The suspects are ages 15 and 16. They were identified from video footage released by police last week. The U.S. Marshals Service assisted in the apprehension of the 16 year old. He was taken into custody in New York.

The shooting resulted in the deaths of 12 year old Zyion Charles and 15 year old Cameron Jackson. Four others were wounded in the shooting and have been released from the hospital.

Police say the investigation continues.
