Search continues for suspect in deadly Buckhead stabbing

Atlanta police are hoping that photos of a person of interest will help them solve a homicide in the city over the weekend. The images are from surveillance video from the home of a neighbor.

A $10,000 reward is being offered as police investigate the stabbing death of 77 year old Eleanor Bowles.

The elderly woman was found dead around 5:30pm Saturday in the garage of her Buckhead home, which police say is located in a gated community.

According to APD Deputy Chief Charles Hampton, Bowles' son had come home to visit her for the holidays. "This is not a way that a family should have to spend their holiday season," said Hampton, "mourning and grieving the death of a loved one."

Authorities say they believe Bowles was inside the home at 6 Paces West Terrace NW when someone tried to steal her luxury SUV.
