DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department says it's searching for a woman who pointed a gun at security guards outside a club on the city's west side.

The incident happened early in the morning of Sunday, March 19, in the 14400 block of Plymouth Road, near Hubbell Ave.

According to investigators, a yet-unidentified woman "became angry" when she was escorted out of Club Celebrity by club security, just after 1:15 a.m.

Once outside the club, police said the woman pointed a handgun at security staffers before fleeing the scene in a white Ford Fusion with tinted windows, a sun roof, and black rims.

While no shots were fired and no injuries were reported, police said the suspect — seen in a photo released by the DPD on Tuesday — is wanted on a charge of felonious assault.
