A man from the Folsom area is facing child porn and sexual battery charges stemming from a case involving a child relative under the age of 13.
Deputies say a year-long investigation led them Cohen Gray, 21.
"Back in October 2025, Gray was identified as a suspect in a sexual battery case involving a juvenile relative," a TPSO spokesperson said in a release. "A warrant was issued for his arrest, however, law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions were unable to locate him."
Earlier this summer, deputies began looking into child porn that had been uploaded from an IP address in the parish. That, the spokesperson said, is what ultimately led deputies to Gray.
"Just as detectives were tracing the activity back to an address within the parish, on October 15th, Gray was located at that address following a disturbance call and was placed under arrest on the outstanding sexual battery warrant," the spokespersons said. "Upon review of Gray’s devices obtained during the arrest, it was confirmed that he was the suspect responsible for the CSAM uploads the ICAC team was investigating."
