The Lotto Texas Jackpot continues to rise, as no winner was selected for the 84th time in a row. The current lottery run began in September, and the jackpot has since been raised to its highest amount since 2010. Now, the jackpot is sitting at $61 million ahead of Saturday’s drawing.

When no winner was selected for the Lotto Texas Jackpot on Wednesday, the prize once again rose to a level not seen in over a decade. With the prize now set at $61 million, the jackpot is currently the third largest in America, only behind the Mega Million and Powerball. According to NBC DFW, if a winner is selected on Saturday, they will have to pay $8,860,800 in federal taxes and go home with $28,059,200.

Lotto Texas claims sales are steady and "will generate important revenue for public education in Texas,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. If no winner is selected Saturday, the prize will continue to increase towards $62 million. Soon, someone in Texas will be a lot richer.
