Last December, Benbrook, TX residents Michael Furrh, Debbie Reynolds and Terri Janak led a team of volunteers in their quest to claim a Guinness World Record.
On the grounds of the Benbrook Lake Golf course, the group constructed the world’s largest pyramid of golf balls, stacking 19,019 balls, and in the process shattering the record of 17,575 which was set by Pennsylvania man Zachary Krivda in 2022.
According to UPI, the pyramid featured 38 rows of carefully stacked balls, and the team was not allowed to use any adhesive or other product to keep the balls in place.
The base of the pyramid was braced by a custom-built wooden stage.
