Coming out of a Nashville writing session with Langley, Wetzel, Jordan Schmidt, and ERNEST, the song was an “organic,” must-write according to Koe. Admitting that it’s a different sound than what we’ve come to expect from Wetzel, the collab shows the range of both Ella and Koe, pushing into new territory while managing to keep their signature edge.
Wetzel and Langley previously joined forces on “That’s Why We Fight,” in 2023 for Ella’s Excuse The Mess EP.
