Jimmie Allen stopped by Kelly Ford in the Morning to talk about his performance on week three of Dancing with the Stars, but the subject quickly turned to a new TV sitcom we never saw coming!
“I’m working on a sitcom,” Jimmie told Audacy’s Kelly Ford and Jonah. “It’s like my version of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It’s going to be interesting, definitely a comedy.” Jimmie went on to share the show has not been publicly announced yet, and he’s only been letting the news spread by word of mouth.
While the “Best Shot” singer didn’t release many more details surrounding the actual show, there is one thing he made clear — he will not try to compete with the Fresh prince opening rap.
“I’m going to leave that alone,” he laughed. Can’t say we blame him!

Jimmie can be seen competing on week five of Dancing with the Stars next week with his professional dance partner Emma Slater. The pair will be performing two dances for the show’s Disney week — one on Monday night for “hero night” and another on Tuesday for “villain night.”
