American Idol judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie narrowed the competition down to 24 contestants during last night’s episode. The remaining contestants will head to Disney’s Aulani Resort in Ko Olina, HI to perform for America’s vote in the coming weeks.

The final judgment was clearly not an easy task for the judges who made some decisions at the last minute asking four contestants to sing for their life in the judging room. Talk about pressure!
Each year, the talent seems to step up a notch and with Idol celebrating its 20th season, it’s only appropriate this crew of 24 seems to be the best batch of singers yet.
