"I can't even tell you whether I've watched it at all—is that terrible?" Osment admitted when asked if she goes back to re-watch old episodes. She later explained that the first episode is the only exception.

"I remember watching the premiere, because they had a party for us on stage," she recalled. "And I remember that was such an interesting time, because we had no idea what it was going to be, that it was just going to be this sensation that, like, swept the world."

Osment starred as Emily, Hannah Montana’s (played by Miley Cyrus) best friend on the Disney Channel series that aired for five years from 2006 to 2011.

As the show quickly grew in popularity, Osment said everything changed, including her relationship with Cyrus. “The immediate change that we felt just walking around in the world was so weird,” the actress and musician said.

She continued, “Miley used to come with me to my school dances and, like, nobody knew who she was and then immediately everything changed. And that was very strange."

Overall, the "Young and Hungry" star said that she is “grateful” for her time on the show because it gave her “accountability and purpose” from a young age.

Osment went on to star in the Netflix series “The Kominsky Method" and “Pretty Smart” the TV series. She is the younger sister of “The Sixth Sense” star Haley Joel Osment.
