Gavin Adcock recently joined Katie Neal in Nashville to talk about the release of his ambitious 25 track album, The Day I Hang It Up, taking us inside key tracks and his commitment to a raw, unpolished studio sound that avoids digital auto-tuning to deliver an authentic, live-band feel.

"It's just kind of a, sticking your foot down and going, no matter how you feel about me, I ain't going nowhere,” Adcock says of The Day I Hang It Up. “That's why that became the title of this album."
“I don't wanna hear any tuning on this album. I want it to sound like we're playing it in the garage or sound like we're just playing it live,” reveals Gavin. “I don't wanna put anything in a song that me and them cannot play. We don't run any tracks. We don't have any extra things going on, and that correlates really well to the live show because when the people leave they go, ‘wow, he sounded just like, or better, than the record.’"
