Wrapping 2023 with their single, “Girl In Mine,” being one of Billboard’s top 10 most played Country radio songs of the year, the 4-man group is ready to take a fresh year by storm with another incredible single that connects with fans on a whole new level.
At first listen, “Gonna Love You,” may sound like another Country love song, but the group takes the meaning even deeper with the music video that fully re-creates a tragic night in their career when Scott Thomas (drummer) was shot during a robbery on their bus and given a 5% chance to live.
“For those of y’all who know us and our journey you know this story. For those who don’t, this is a true story and a pivotal moment in our lives and career,” the guys wrote surrounding them music video’s release. “Sometimes a song finds purpose. Thankfully this song came into our lives when we felt it was time to tell this story.”
They continued, “Yes, it was hard to re-create this. Yes, filming these scenes brought back so many emotions and memories.. but we’ve always tried to find the silver lining in everything. We hope that anyone who sees this can find hope no matter what they are going through, find love in places you would never expect to and most of all know that you can persevere no matter what the circumstances.”
