NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The Mets-Rockies matchup scheduled for Wednesday evening has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Mets announced Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies at Citi Field would be made up on Thursday, May 27 at 12:10 p.m.

The game will be made up as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader and will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Both games will be seven innings.

Tickets for Wednesday's game will not be valid for Thursday's doubleheader.

Fans who purchased tickets directly from the Mets for Wednesday's game will receive a credit.

The rain-out marks the most-recent delay for the Mets, who have had multiple games during the season postponed due to COVID cases, heavy rain and even snow.
